Club rules

On entering the premises, every visitor is required to read these Operating Rules. By entering, the visitor consents to the privacy notice and to the Operating Rules and undertakes to follow their instructions.

This English text is a courtesy translation. In the event of any discrepancy, the Czech wording is legally binding.

I

Operator

• The operator of the Tresor Club premises is TRESOR club s.r.o., registered office at Vinohradská 35/25, 120 00 Prague 2, acting through its authorised employees and external staff (hereinafter the Operator).

Introductory provisions

• These Operating Rules set out how visitors to TRESOR club are to behave. They are without prejudice to obligations arising from generally binding legislation, good morals, rules of courtesy and decent conduct, or from the Operator's organisational instructions.
• Every visitor must act so as not to endanger the life, health, property, rights or legitimate interests of themselves or any other person, nor public order or morality, and so as not to disturb other visitors.

III

Operating and visitor instructions

• A visitor is anyone who enters the TRESOR club premises.
• There is no legal entitlement to enter the club or to remain in it, even where entry is subject to an admission fee.
• Where entry is charged for, it is permitted only after the fee has been paid. The ticket or identification wristband is non-transferable, entitles the holder to a single entry to the given event, and the fee paid is non-refundable.
• During their stay, a visitor must be able to prove payment of the admission fee at any time by presenting a valid ticket or wristband. Refusing to do so, or passing it to another person, entitles the Operator to remove the visitor from the club.
• If a visitor is barred from remaining on the premises for the reasons set out in these rules, they have no right to a refund or compensation of the admission fee.
• Visitors must comply with these Operating Rules and follow the instructions of persons designated by the Operator; the Police of the Czech Republic hold the same authority. Breaching the rules may lead to removal from the premises, misdemeanour proceedings or a police investigation.
• For safety reasons, a visitor must show the contents of their pockets or hand luggage on request. Refusal means entry will be denied.
• The Operator is entitled to carry out a check at any time, in particular to protect life, health, property and public order and to ensure compliance with legislation and with these rules.
• The Operator is entitled to refuse entry to intoxicated persons, persons under the influence of addictive substances, aggressive persons, or persons endangering safety on the club premises.
• The Operator is entitled to refuse entry, at its discretion, to inappropriately dressed persons — for example in soiled, torn or malodorous clothing.
• Dangerous items may not be brought in: weapons, ammunition, non-lethal weapons (defence sprays, stun guns, tasers), stabbing, cutting or striking weapons, pyrotechnics, pressure vessels, sprays and hypodermic needles. Such items will be placed in the safe at the entrance and returned on departure; if a visitor refuses this safekeeping, entry will be denied.
• Narcotic and psychotropic substances and substances hazardous to life or health (poisons, flammable, caustic, volatile, corrosive and staining substances), as well as substances of unknown character, may not be brought in.
• Bringing your own refreshments is prohibited. Exceptions are drinks given as a celebration gift (which may not be consumed on the premises) and refreshments agreed in advance, such as a birthday cake.
• The Operator is entitled to remove visitors who are intoxicated or under the influence of addictive substances and who disturb or endanger others or the club's property.
• A visitor who publicly endorses the conduct of a person who has been barred from remaining on the premises may also be removed.
• The Operator reserves the right not to readmit persons who have left the club, so as to prevent night-time disturbance caused by people gathering outside.
• If two or more people enter a single toilet cubicle at the same time, the Operator may intervene.
• The following are strictly prohibited on the premises: handling open flame; using narcotic or toxic substances; smoking; bringing in animals; moving loose furnishings (chairs excepted); damaging, writing on or sticking anything to the fittings; entering areas not intended for visitors (including the dance area and the stage); interfering with electrical equipment and wiring; handling fire-protection equipment where there is no fire risk; and interfering with temperature controls and the heating system. Damage may be charged to the visitor.
• Every visitor enters and remains on the premises at their own responsibility and risk. The Operator is liable only for damage caused by intentional or grossly negligent conduct of its employees or persons in a comparable position.
• For safety reasons, visitors are required to leave jackets, coats and hand luggage in the cloakroom, as well as bulky or unwieldy items.
• The Operator does not vouch for the contents of pockets and luggage left in the cloakroom, nor for items left outside the cloakroom, and accepts no liability for damage to or theft of personal belongings.
• Items without a cloakroom ticket will be released after the event has properly ended, on the basis of a detailed description. Items left in the cloakroom are released against a cloakroom ticket for one calendar week, after which they will be disposed of.
• It is prohibited to remove any glass (glasses, bottles), plastic cups or other fittings from the club.
• In front of the entrance and in the immediate vicinity, visitors must observe night-time quiet between 22:00 and 06:00. Disturbing the night-time quiet is a misdemeanour under Section 47(1)(b) of Act No. 200/1990 Coll.
• Re-entry may be refused where there is a suspicion of obtaining drugs for personal use or for sale on the premises, or where the visitor is drinking alcohol in front of the club.
• A visitor must compensate all damage and losses caused through their fault; compensation will be sought in accordance with the law.
• Injuries and damage to property must be reported to the Operator without delay.
• A stocked first-aid kit is kept by the Operator. If treatment is needed, approach the nearest member of staff.
• A laser projector with an output of 1.5 W to 1.6 W is used on the premises.
• Safety at events run by external promoters is the responsibility of the organising party.

IV

Opening hours

• Entry to the premises is possible only during opening hours; remaining on the premises outside opening hours is prohibited.
• The Operator is entitled to open or close the club outside the stated hours and, in justified cases, to interrupt operations already under way.
• The Operator is entitled to close early if the number of visitors falls below 50.
• The Operator is entitled to close early where serious damage is threatened or has occurred (estimated at no less than CZK 10,000) or where a serious criminal offence takes place (a brawl, bodily harm).
• If operations end early, a visitor has no right to a refund or compensation of the admission fee. The Operator reserves the right to amend these Operating Rules.
